I have always enjoyed the outdoors and through owning a number of properties became good at landscaping. I have known the artist for over two decades and often helped him with projects in the garden.

Being a history teacher specializing in the history of war and theology I became interested in the story and teachings of St. Francis of Assisi. In my research I concluded that St. Francis’s belief system matched my own and his teachings transcend Catholicism. Instead of a secular place to go and worship, the garden became a place of meditation and reflection growing close to my heart.

Naturally when I was made aware of the board growing and needing a Site Maintenance Director I jumped at the chance to be part of this burgeoning I.P.O. and playing a part in sharing with others my love for the garden.

Since then each positive step made growing this magnificent garden facility has made me grow as a person and I hope many others will be able to share the experience I have enjoyed in the past four years.
